Welcome

Club Suisse was founded in February 2004. The Club provides a meeting place where its members can get to know each other in friendship and in a relaxed atmosphere. The Club has drawn members from a wide variety of occupations and including a cross-section of staff and management of many Swiss companies operating in Bermuda. The members of the Club Suisse meet on different occasions and in different places about eight times per year. Activities range from informal card evening via luncheons and dinners and activities for the whole family.

Schweizer Nationalhymne - Schweizerpsalm

1. Strophe

Trittst im Morgenrot daher,
Seh ich dich im Strahlenmeer,
Dich, du Hocherhabener, Herrlicher!
Wenn der Alpenfirn sich roetet,
Betet, freie Schweizer, betet!
Eure fromme Seele ahnt
Eure fromme Seele ahnt
Gott im hehren Vaterland,
Gott, den Herrn, im hehren Vaterland.

2. Strophe

Kommst im Abendgluehn daher,
Find ich dich im Sternenheer,
Dich, du Menschenfreundlicher, Liebender!
In des Himmels lichten Raeumen
Kann ich froh und selig traeumen!
Denn die fromme Seele ahnt
Denn die fromme Seele ahnt
Gott im hehren Vaterland,
Gott, den Herrn, im hehren Vaterland.

3. Strophe

Ziehst im Nebelflor daher,
Such ich dich im Wolkenmeer,
Dich, du Unergruendlicher, Ewiger!
Aus dem grauen Luftgebilde
Tritt die Sonne klar und milde,
Und die fromme Seele ahnt
Und die fromme Seele ahnt
Gott im hehren Vaterland,
Gott, den Herrn, im hehren Vaterland.

4. Strophe

Fhrst im wilden Sturm daher,
Bist du selbst uns Hort und Wehr,
Du, allmaechtig Waltender, Rettender!
In Gewitternacht und Grauen
Lasst uns kindlich ihm vertrauen!
Ja, die fromme Seele ahnt,
Ja, die fromme Seele ahnt,
Gott im hehren Vaterland,
Gott, den Herrn, im hehren Vaterland.
